This was the first time I took part in the international program, and my first time overseas (??). In this Thailand program, we studied English at Ayutthaya Rajabhat University (ARU) we had many different Thai cultural experiences, visited many famous places in Ayutthaya city, such as old temples and ruins. We also had cultural exchanges with university students and also with elementary school students! One of my favorite things was the Night Market, but I also loved Thai traditional cuisine. Also, in the night market we could try many Thai specialties such as fruit and Saimai, which is a traditional sweet that is famous in Ayutthaya. We could also buy cheap accessories, or try crazy experiences such as eating insects. It was unbelievable! We stayed in Thailand for 12 days and many strong impressions remain in my mind from my time at ARU. Besides the Night Market, I met many Thai students who were very friendly, gentle and bright. We quickly became friends and spent time together in our spare time. I still keep in touch with Thai friends even now, using social media. Because I still have low English proficiency, when we did exchanges in English it was difficult, but we were able to spend fun times communicating by gestures and facial expressions. No matter what, the experience was saved by the kindness of the Thai people!
